With expertise in understanding the relationship of flora, fauna, soil, geology, and natural systems, Eustace provides habitat enhancement design for our projects whether they are in urban, suburban, or rural areas. Each site is unique, and we develop habitat goals based on the natural characteristics of sites while taking into account the environment around the project and any site improvements or land development we may be planning.
At some of our projects, we focus on improving habitat for specific flora or fauna, while at other projects we provide broad-based habitat enhancement for a wide range of species. This can include establishing a specific plant species that hosts a specific butterfly, providing a diversity of pollinator plants, improving overall floristic diversity in natural areas, and/or creating a new habitat zone. Our experience includes habitat restoration and management along the Delaware River and tributaries, in woodlands and forests, at meadows and wetlands, and in the open space and stormwater management zones of our site improvement projects.
