Provided survey and civil engineering services site work associated with retrofitting an existing warehouse/office building for reuse as a charter school in West Philadelphia. Per the client’s request, we limited the disturbed area on site to stay under the 15,000 s.f. threshold per PWD regulations in order to avoid construction of stormwater management facilities. Proposed site grading was critical in maintaining this threshold. Site work included new concrete curbing and parking lot full depth paving as well as milling and overlaying of existing paving, a trash enclosure, utility connections, and stormwater conveyance to the existing City sewer.
