YMCA
Provided site engineering services for a new 72,000 s.f. two (2) story YMCA facility with state of the art equipment and amenities. The site involved numerous design challenges associated with developing a brown field site. Coordination with the EPA and DEP was required to limit exposure to potentially contaminated groundwater while maintaining existing on-site monitoring wells and a force main for remediation of contaminated groundwater. The project also included design and permitting associated with enclosing a portion of Naylor’s Run stream for parking lot improvements. A portion of the site is located on a PECO substation property which required relocation of several PECO high power service lines. Bio-swales were designed and constructed in order to satisfy Township and DEP requirements.
Site Construction Cost: $3,600,000
